“Free Will” by Gil Scott-Heron - album review
features in: Album Chart of 1972 ● Album Chart of the Decade: 1970s |
An album of two distinct halves; the jazz-centric side one (4.70) carrying on where last years “Pieces Of A Man” left off, and the stripped-back acoustic-rap side two (6.23) which harks back to “A New Black Poet”, his debut of 2 years ago.
