“Black Moses” by Isaac Hayes - album review

I'm completely disgusted with much of this hellish double album set - the former funk dude has become a middle-of-the-road R n B bore. The darkly sexy first two minute section of “Medley: Ike’s Rap II / Help Me Love” threatens to break the mould, but is then thoroughly betrayed by the appending five minutes of schmaltz. Disgusted I tell you.
