TJR says

Whilst it stands as my definition of musical hell, this chart-topping July '81 release is almost universally revered as one of the greatest AOR albums of all-time. The San Franciscan five line-up: Steve Perry (vocals), Neal Schon (lead guitar, backing vocals), Jonathan Cain (keyboards, rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Ross Valory (bass, backing vocals) and Steve Smith (drums, percussion, backing vocals). Hellspawn hits included “Who’s Crying Now” (#4), “Don’t Stop Believin’” (#9), “Open Arms” (#2) and “Still They Ride” (#19). Wire in if you're a bit emo and dig the Eagles.
