TJR says

An Arts & Law graduate of Glasgow University, his career-path changed forever after becoming a regular on “Songs of Scotland”, the hit BBC TV series. His baritone is suited to classical and pop and he draws on both of these styles in expressing these auld Scottish songs. It's the stuff of nightmares for people like me who love earthy folk music.
