“Scott 2” by Scott Walker - album review
features in: Album Chart of 1968 ● Album Chart of the Decade: 1960s ● 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die |
The second LP from the 25-year-old is dominated by his three Brel interpretations; “Jackie” (9.5), “Next” (8.0) and “The Girls And The Dogs” (7.4). Elsewhere, the schmaltzy pop-balladeering offends my tastebuds.
