“Where I’m Coming From” by Stevie Wonder - album review
features in: Album Chart of 1971 ● Album Chart of the Decade: 1970s |
His last album for Motown before his contract ran out, all co-written with his then-wife, Syreeta Wright. There's an ever increased sense of depth and maturity to his work, but he still fails to connect with me, the hard-strutting “Do Yourself A Favor” being the one funky exception.
