TJR says

The sleeve notes tell: “There is a bond between all country folks which has no parallel among city people. The common ties of people near the soil are no more closely seen and heard than in their music. Here we have 3 COUNTRY GENTLEMEN - one from northern Florida, one from Nova Scotia in Canada and one from southern Missouri. Each understands that common bond and each is a country music star because he has succesfully translated it into his songs and playing.
